My Bote Wraith took a beating when my fin hit a stump one evening when I was paddling at night at the Wheeler Wildlife Reserve in Alabama. I fell forward and my knee put a big hole in the fragile carbon fiber deck. I decided to paint one of my favorite marine creatures, the Brittlestar, over the repair.
