Combining my passions for the sport of Standup Paddleboarding (SUP) and art, I developed a unique business repairing, embellishing, and building SUPs in Chattanooga, Tennessee. My interest in repair and construction began many years ago while working as a Research Assistant on the Gulf Coast. I wanted the freedom of being on the water in my free time without work related tasks but found that having a fuel powered boat was not economically feasible. A friend suggested building a wooden sea kayak from a Chesapeake Light Craft kit, http://www.clcboats.com/. I had never built anything in my life but decided to go for it. It was an incredibly empowering experience and my boat turned out super awesome and highly functional. I still have it to this day. When I discovered SUP and found a ding in my board, my mind went back to that experience and I easily repaired my board with that knowledge. I soon realized there was no one offering repair services in my area so I quickly began repairing boards on the side. That was in 2013 and I am now in my second shop. Not only can I bring your board back to life, but I can transform the repair into a work of art. If it is a new board that you need, I will work with you to build a new shape that addresses your own needs and personal expression!
